So after a 3 hour layover, we were on the plane and in the air for our 5 hour flight! Once again these can be tedious but we all felt the flight went pretty quick all things considered. Always enjoy the $35 chicken wrap on the plane (oh and you have to pay with VISA!!!)
Trevor was causing a disturbance so he was seated at the back of the plane right next to the constantly used toilets! One thing about those I have to mention---I WANT ONE AT HOME!!! Only guys can appreciate what I'm talking about. I don't care what you put in that thing...you push a button and within a second WHOOSH gone! I'd love to see what things it could take...pot roast...whole chicken....dozen golf balls.....maybe even a pillow! Ah just dreaming about that makes a guy happy!
Pictures really don't do this justice, but I managed to take some pretty amazing pictures out the windows. They are over the wing (Duh) around sunset and the others are just at the start of night with the moon coming out. Note the one pic with the moon shining on the wing with a city in Florida below it!
It has to be a guy thing again, or maybe it's just me and my friend OCD, but do you ever scour the wings every rivet looking for a possible crack, a flaw, something that you can scream "Oh my god we're all gonna die"...just me???
I was able to pass the time by watching one of those in flight movies..Ben Hur. Now if you've never seen this classic, first up, Massala died in the chariot race...Juda Ben Hur's mom and sister get cured of leprosy and he finally gets that the guy who saved his life was Jesus....Oh I guess I should have put spoiler alert first. Oh well. 3:30 later it wrapped up right when we were touching down! Customs went super quick. Trevor seemed to really enjoy the full cavity search, then we all met up at the Sandals Lounge. You can also see our winners Christina and Loran getting ready to be amazed
We all walked around a bit and grabbed a bite to eat as we were kinda hungry, yet not really. We even convinced Trevor to down a Pepsi, which he hasn't done in years! (FYI - he used to be addicted BIGTIME to that stuff, then swore it off for the much better Red Bull)
Now the Sheriff and Chelsea think I took this picture on purpose, but I swear it was coincidence!!! *Note the sign above the Sheriff*
Seemed everyone faded quickly afterwards and off to our private villas we all went for a good nights sleep on these massive four poster beds. Chelsea found these particularly good! (No not for that reason...so she could tie a rope to his leg to keep him from wandering away!)
Thus ends our first night at Sandals Jamaica!!!
